Muhsin.pk is a Karachi-based e-commerce platform providing school stationery, notebooks, uniforms, toys & games, and halal-certified confectionery to families across Karachi, Sindh. Our proprietary Syllabus Matrix enables school-specific and grade-specific bundle purchases in under two minutes.

1.1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, placing an order, or otherwise utilizing this e-commerce platform (the "Platform"), the user ("Customer", "Parent", "Guardian", "User") unconditionally agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and all other operational policies published herein. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement under the Contract Act, 1872 (Pakistan). If you do not agree with any provision herein, you must immediately cease use of the Platform.

1.2 Capacity to Contract

In compliance with the Contract Act, 1872 (Pakistan) and the Age of Majority Act, 1875, the User affirms that they are at least eighteen (18) years of age, of sound mind, and possess full legal capacity to enter into a binding financial agreement. Minors (persons under 18 years of age) may only use this Platform under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts full contractual responsibility.

1.3 Nature of Service & Non-Exclusivity

The Platform operates as an independent, third-party aggregator and retailer of educational materials, school textbooks, uniforms, stationery, toys & games, and confectionery. In strict adherence to the directives of the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, and notifications issued by the Karachi School Networks:

•       All purchases made on this Platform are entirely voluntary.

•       No private school, school network, or educational institution compels or mandates the exclusive use of this Platform.

•       Customers retain the absolute right to purchase any individual item from the open market at their discretion.

•       This Platform does not claim any exclusive endorsement, mandatory tie-in, or monopolistic relationship with any educational board or private school system.

 

1.4 Karachi School Notification Compliance

In accordance with the Sindh School Education Directives and notifications issued by the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA), Sindh:

•       Schools may not compel parents to purchase items exclusively from any single vendor or platform.

•       All curriculum materials listed on this Platform reflect the publicly announced syllabus requirements of respective school networks.

•       Parents are not bound to purchase via this Platform; open-market alternatives are always available.

•       Any bundle or combo-pack offering is a consumer convenience only, not a mandatory school directive.

 

1.5 Product Accuracy & Syllabus Changes

The Platform utilizes best efforts to compile accurate booklists, uniform specifications, stationery requirements, and product details based on public announcements and educational syllabi. However:

•       Publishers and school boards may modify editions, print runs, or required materials without prior public notice.

•       The Platform reserves the right to update product offerings to match the latest approved editions without prior notice to Customers.

•       Product images are for illustrative purposes only; color fidelity varies based on monitor settings and manufacturing batches. Minor variances shall not constitute a breach of contract.

•       Toy age ratings and safety specifications are accurate as per manufacturer declarations and Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) certified listings.

•       Food and confectionery items display ingredient and allergen information as provided by manufacturers and are subject to change without notice.

 

1.6 Price & Payment Terms

All prices are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) inclusive of applicable taxes. The Platform accepts the following payment methods:

•       Cash on Pickup (at designated fulfillment hubs)

•       Easypaisa / JazzCash / SadaPay digital wallets

•       Credit / Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay via 3D-Secure gateway)

 

Prices are subject to change due to publisher revisions, paper market fluctuations, FBR or SRB tax structure changes, or import duty revisions on toys and confectionery items. Orders are confirmed only upon successful payment authorization. The Platform reserves the right to cancel orders where pricing errors are discovered, with full refund to the Customer.

1.7 Halal & Food Safety Compliance

All confectionery and food items listed on this Platform carry or are sourced from manufacturers with valid Pakistan Halal Authority (PHA) certification. Allergen information (nuts, dairy, gluten, soy) is displayed as provided by manufacturers. Customers with dietary restrictions are advised to verify all ingredient details prior to purchase. The Platform accepts no liability for undisclosed individual allergies.

1.8 Toy Safety Standards

All toys and games listed comply with or are represented by their manufacturers to comply with Pakistan Standards (PS) and/or international CE/ASTM safety standards. Age-appropriate labelling, choking hazard warnings, and material safety data are displayed as provided by manufacturers. Parents are solely responsible for supervising children during play.

1.9 Intellectual Property

All logos, text, databases, bundle configurations, code, graphics, and custom layouts on this Platform are the exclusive property of the Platform operator or its licensors, protected under the Copyright Ordinance, 1962, and the Trademarks Ordinance, 2001 (Pakistan). School names and publisher titles are referenced solely for consumer identification under fair use doctrine.

1.10 Indemnification & Limitation of Liability

The Platform, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from: use or inability to use the Platform; delays during peak seasonal periods; errors in third-party courier handling; product changes initiated by publishers, schools, or manufacturers; or consumption/use of toys, games, or food items. Total liability shall not exceed the value of the specific transaction in dispute.

Charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on the Consolidated Bundle Weight Matrix:

•       2–5 kg: Medium rate

•       5 kg and above: Heavy bundle rate

 

All delivery charges are displayed transparently before payment confirmation. Delivery fees are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched.

 

4.3 Food & Perishable Items Delivery

Confectionery items are shipped in sealed, insulated packaging during peak summer months. The Platform does not guarantee temperature control beyond standard courier handling. Customers in areas with extended transit times are advised to use Click & Collect to ensure product freshness.

•       Step 2 — Acknowledgement: The Customer Support team will acknowledge receipt within 24 working hours.

•       Step 3 — Investigation: Conducted within 5 working days; the Customer is notified of the outcome.

•       Step 4 — Resolution: Refund, exchange, or correction implemented within 7 working days of outcome notification.

 

6.2 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

All legal claims, consumer disputes, or transactional arbitrations arising from use of this Platform shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan. All causes of action fall under the exclusive judicial jurisdiction of the competent courts of Karachi, Sindh.
